HIV/AIDS conference in the US in 2012

I really never thought this day would come, but here we are. The US has finally banned the travel restrictions for people living with HIV/AIDS. There were about 59 countries with HIV/AIDS travel ban. Of those, two of them (S.Korea and US) have recently lifted those bans. And to some, we can rest with relief….especially since the leading country was the US, we  can only hope that more countries will follow suit. looking at the list, which includes China, Cuba, Egypt, North Korea, Israel, New Zealand, Poland, Singapore, Iraq and Russia, you really have to wonder as to why these particular countries have a HIV/AIDS phobia….if they states were trying to prevent the spread of the disease in their countries, then the point is mute, as their citizens can travel to countries with high rates of the infection……
